கோவையில் 11ஆம் வகுப்பு மாணவியை காதலிப்பதாக ஆசை வார்த்தை கூறி கடந்த சில நாட்களுக்கு முன்பு அழைத்துச் சென்று பாலியல் பலாத்காரம் செய்த 2 பேரை போலீசார் போக்சோ சட்டத்தில் கைது செய்து சிறையில் அடைத்தனர்.
கோவை செல்வபுரத்தை சேர்ந்தவர் 17 வயது மாணவி . இவர் அங்குள்ள பள்ளியில் பிளஸ் 1 படித்து வருகிறார். ஆன்லைன் மூலம் வீட்டில் இருந்து படித்து வந்தார். இந்த நிலையில் மாணவியை திடீரென்று காணவில்லை. இதுகுறித்து அவரது பெற்றோர் செல்வபுரம் போலீசில் புகார் செய்தனர்.
போலீசார் நடத்திய விசாரணையில் மாணவியின் செல்போனுக்கு அதே பகுதியை சேர்ந்த டிரைவர் சண்முகம் ( 30) சிதம்பரத்தை ஏழுமலை ( 29) ஆகியோர் அடிக்கடி பேசியது தெரியவந்தது.
இந்த நிலையில் வேளாங்கண்ணி பகுதியில் இருந்த மாணவியை போலீசார் மீட்டு கோவைக்கு அழைத்து வந்தனர். மாணவியிடம் விசாரித்தபோது ஏழுமலை, சண்முகம் ஆகியோர் தனக்கு பிரைடு சிக்கன் மற்றும் ஊரை சுற்றி காட்டுவதாக கூறி ஏமாற்றி கடத்திச் சென்று பாலியல் பலாத்காரம் செய்ததாக கூறினார்.
இதையடுத்து போலீசார் அவர்கள் இருவரையும் பிடித்து விசாரித்தனர். விசாரணையில் மாணவியை ஊட்டி, திருச்சி ஆகிய இடங்களுக்கு கூட்டி சென்று பாலியல் பலாத்காரம் செய்தது தெரியவந்தது.
இதையடுத்து செல்வபுரம்போலீசார் அவர்கள் இருவரையும் போக்சோ சட்டத்தில் கைது செய்து நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஆஜர்படுத்தப்பட்டு கோவை மத்திய சிறையில் அடைக்கபட்டனர்.
